Happy Mother's Day!

Just a quick update to wish everyone a very Happy Mother's Day!

We had a really great day... it was my 2nd Mother's Day & I still don't really get the feeling that it's about me, but maybe one day I will!

This Mother's Day was extra-special because Caleb was dedicated at Church! It was a quick & easy ceremony at the beginning of service, but it was definitely a bit emotional too. There were about 14 families in our service who dedicated a total of 20 kids! Pretty neat! Caleb did great & especially loved when the band kicked off the service with the usual worship. He of course was equally excited that Grandma and Papa as well as Grammie and Pop were all sitting behind him! They called us to the front one at a time & put a picture of each child up on the big screen. Then the family pastor spoke, said a prayer for all the families & we were done. They finished up by scrolling through all 49 kids that got dedicated that morning across all 3 services while the band played "I Hope You Dance"... definitely a tear-jerking moment!

**Caleb fell asleep before church service was over so I was bummed that I didn't get any more family pictures, but oh well... sleep is definitely important for him!

After church we headed down to The Cheesecake Factory in Alpharetta for some very yummy lunch & then pretty much relaxed at home the rest of the day. It was very nice to spend some relaxing time at home with just the 3 of us!
