1st Trip to the Fair and ChuckECheese!

What a busy Boy! Caleb kicked off the weekend a little early...in what is becoming a weekly tradition...Caleb hits Waffle House with daddy on Friday mornings. I snapped a few quick pics of him playing outside before they left. Once they pull in the parking lot he gets all excited because he knows where they are! He sits (well actually stands) with daddy in the window booth so he can switch between looking out the window at all the passing cars, and having a bite of waffle from the "All Star Breakfast" that they share. According to daddy, Caleb LOVES the waffle & occasionally will eat some bacon too!

On Saturday morning while we were getting ready for the day, Caleb found my lunchbox in the pantry. He's going through this phase where he loves to wear anything with a strap - i.e. the camera bag, my purse (which is way too big & heavy), my lunch bag, etc. It is hilarious! Anyway, he strapped this on & paraded around the house. He was just happy as could be & was chatting up a storm with himself, so I had to get my camera and take some pics. When he's 18 we're still going to be laughing at these pictures!

Around noon we made our first family trip to ChuckECheese for Chase's 3rd birthday party (I work & carpool with his mom). It was WILD and crazy there...kids everywhere! But Caleb had fun on the few rides he went on & loved this slide in the "Toddler zone" he kept trying to climb back up the slide rather than run back around! He ate some pizza and had cake, then was about ready to pass out for naptime after the big event.

After his nap we headed to the Cumming Fair to meet Grandma and Grandpa (Proctor). We were there the weekend before during the day with our friends the Divers. Caleb loved the petting zoo & got to ride some rides with Carly (their 2 year old). Of course my camera died so I only have a few pics of that trip. This trip to the fair was exciting because it was getting dark & all the lights were on, so Caleb was pretty pumped & had so much to look at. He did really well riding the cars all by himself, and then he did surprisingly well in the nemo ride too. (It didn't have a steering wheel so we thought he would get bored) As it went around in circles it also rolled up & down so he liked that. I decided it would be fun to take him on this giant slide, which I realized was much higher than I thought once I got to the top! I was actually a little nervous, but once we started it was so much fun! I think Caleb enjoyed it. We also hit up the petting zoo again. He just loves checking out the animals & just goes right up to them! Finally Grandpa couldn't resist playing some games with Caleb (particularly anything with water because he loves it so much). He won a little stuffed cow playing the rubber duckie game.

Here's a few more pics that I took before school this past week. I'm definitely partial, but he is such a cutie in his little spiffy outfits. He was mad at me here because he wanted to go out on the deck and play in Tuker's water bowl. This past Thursday marked his 14 month birthday so I took a few quick shots of him eating his favorite meal of the day - breakfast - he LOVES blueberry muffins! One thing is for sure, we love the fact that he can walk around and occupy himself, but it sure makes it hard to get him to sit still for a picture. He has much better things to do now than smile for the camera!
