We had such a blast this Christmas with Caleb. He was such a good little guy through all of the events. He's really got the hang of sitting up, so it was fun to watch him sit and dig into his gifts. He had his first bad cold the whole week before, but luckily it didn't put much of a damper on the events.
The festivities all began on Christmas Eve morning, we took Caleb to the Outlet Mall and he sat on Santa's lap! It's a cute little picture that I still have to scan, but as soon as I do I'll post it. Later that evening we went to Grammie and Pop's house (John's parents) for Christmas with his cousins. Caleb had a blast opening his gifts with Pop and Daddy. He got some new chew toys, books, suffed animals, a high chair, and all sorts of other good stuff, some of which Eric had to help him open! It was a fun evening with all of the kids, and Caleb was definitely warn out in the end!
Christmas morning, Caleb woke up to all of the gifts Santa left him at our house. His stocking was full & his favorite toy is for sure the Fisher Price Sing along Stage!
Once Caleb went down for his morning nap, we showered & packed up the car to head to my parents house. We all ate breakfast together while Uncle Scott fed Caleb and then we began digging into all of our gifts. Caleb definitely racked up, and it was fun to again see him dig into everything. Once he finished his gifts, Caleb helped Grandpa with his & Grandpa gave him his first golf ball, which of course went straight to the mouth! All in all, Caleb was such a happy baby all day and everyone enjoyed playing with him. We finished off the evening with our annual feast on crab legs... yummy! Maybe next year Caleb can have some!
